Grindstone

Grindstone

It adds Certus Quartz, Certus Quartz Dust. The Quartz itself can be used for tools and other assorted oddities. Quartz tools are equivalent of iron tools and are crafted the same way.

Applied Energistics also adds some basic machinery:

The Quartz Grind Stone and Wooden Crank

This device allows you to hand grind your Ores or Certus Quartz into dusts for smelting. You get 2 dust per metal ore or 1 Certus Quartz per Quartz. You can also grind wheat into flour, and glowstone blocks into glowstone dust. In order to use the grindstone, first place the grindstone block then place the wooden crank ontop of that, add ores into the UI of the grindstone then right click the crank to start grinding ores.

ME Storage[]

Applied Energistics add a extremely accurate and immense way of storing a large ammount of items. Applied Energistics stores items on Drives also known as cells are stored in a ME Drive, they vary from smallest being 1k to largest being 64k. ME Drives can store up to 10 cells. Which one singular 64k cell can store 520,192 of a single item, so if you had ten 64k storage cell in a single ME drive you can store approximately 5,201,920 of a single item. The benefit of storing your items in cells/drives is that you can store a massive ammount of items in a single block essentially, also our Residence plugin protects blocks from Applied Energistics so they're essentially safe from theft.
